One day, Alastair France asked me if I wanted to be in the chorus of the pantomime his local group, The Harlequins, were doing. I said OK, and went along to the audition - and ended up as the Principal Boy! I also performed in another pantomime (Good Fairy this time) and many smaller productions.

Then I joined Bottisham Players and have fallen into doing whatever is required - costumes, doing the photography, production, painting, poster, programme as well as performing.

I've also performed with Combined Actors in Lady Windermere's Fan, 9-15 April 2002 (photo below). I did the photography for their production of The Browning Version and Harlequinade 8-12 April 2008 (prints) in Peterhouse Theatre. And I did the photography and continuity for their production of Hobson's Choice 10-14 July 2007 (prints); photography for Beauty and the Beast (prints) 5-9 December 2006; My Three Angels (prints) 4-8 July 2006; Humble Boy (prints) 28 March - 1 April 2006; photography and continuity for Hay Fever (prints) (publicity prints), 5-9 July 2005 and photography for Pride and Prejudice, 23-27 March 2004 (all at the ADC Theatre).
