Yet again armed with the 5MP D7 and the 3MP Canon Ixus v3.
We stayed in a cottage on the hillside above Conwy:
With a perfect view of the castle:
We went and tramped around lakes
until it rained and we scampered back to Conwy for a walk along the river/seafront
Then Carnavon Castle. Where it rained again
So we drove over the Menai Straits to Anglesey where it wasn't raining
The next day... It rained and we mooched about Betwys Y Coed until it stopped, then we walked round Capel Curig
and climbed the hills around Lake Ogwen.
Next day... It was raining, so we visited the amazing Plas Mawr house in Conwy
and finally managed to actually visit Conwy Castle
Then we went to Llandudno in the rain
We climbed the Great Orme and then came back down and finally in the late afternoon the rain relented
and finally it was a beautiful evening
At last a day dawned without rain. We went and walked to Aber Falls
and found some wild (presumably welsh) ponies
So we went off to Portmeirion. Where it rained.
Finally, on our last day it was not only dry in the morning, but the forecast was for a fully dry day. So we decided to go up* Snowdon!
Looking back, it was a nice holiday - in spite of the rain.

*: OK, we cheated - we went up on the train. But we did walk all the way down again.
